Combined Martial Arts' Rhino Fight Team Tramples through the Underground/ By Eric Joza

New York, NY -July 10th, 2005-The New York City underground is at it again; this installment of the "Underground Combat League" was dubbed "Revelations Chapter 2". The show got off to a bit of late start due to some last minute fight card reorganization. The heat & humidity made the ring smell like wet socks from where I was stationed, only a true mma fan would put up with this.

Here are the evening's highs & results;

Combined Martial Arts' Rhino fight Team went undefeated tonight with a 5-0 mark in this evening's matches.

The knock out of the night goes to CMA's Richie Torres who made quick work of his opponent Felix Rodriguez with a high roundhouse kick to the head.

Erik Uresk was originally set to face Jiu-jitsu purple belt Rene Dreifuss in this card's main event. That was until Dreifuss suffered an injury while training, so in steps Combined Martial Arts' Frank Edgar. In what was easily the match of the night Uresk & Edgar went to war, with Edgar pounding out the win.

Good fights bad delays, growing pains of a promotion.

Looks like we have some good action brewing in the city, we will have to keep watching to make sure it doesn't boil over.

Close to 1500 people made the trek to the Jersey Shore to cheer for their local MMA stars, and Ring of Combat 8 rewarded fans with an evening of spills and thrills. Highlights of the night included:
